are you still alive?

On a rainy night in late August, you still don’t know what to do. Trying to crave all the hidden things inside your own. Is it normal? Is it okay to be the same person for several years?

There’s some quote saying that people will find their own path, either today, tomorrow, a month later, a year later, a couple years later.. You wouldn’t see that coming. Life is full of surprises. When the universe are ready to give you the light of hope, but you saw that different.

Are you still alive?

Even though it’s a rainy night in late August, you’re still crying in your room. Hiding from the reality. A thirty-three year-old man who hasn’t been able to get a job for a year, crying under the rain. A bunch of ten-year-old kids running and having fun in the rain. A fifty-year-old woman who is still on the street selling drinks.

And there goes that person, who is watching them from behind a small window in his room.

He’s got a lot of questions in his head. How are people able to enjoy their own lives though?

Being passive every day, doing the same boring activity, makes you tired. Then you sit on that wooden chair, light a cigarette, and think again about what’s next to do. Then you turn on your phone, open social media, and realize your friends are already one step ahead of you. No, even two steps. You always think that you are just an extra while everyone else is the main actor.
